Terms of Use

Provider

ContechCloud is provided by Contech Group (ABN 44 678 604 610), Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Contech Group is the contracting party under these terms.

Service

ContechCloud provisions a dedicated, isolated rate-book database for your firm, applies the CMM four-part description grammar through AI tools, and makes it reachable to assistants over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.

Accounts and use

Your data

Rate data you enter remains yours. You retain responsibility for its legality, accuracy, and rights clearance. We process it to provide and secure the service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Reference vocabularies remain ours; lookup is provided through the service and is not copied into your database.

Fees and billing

What happens when you cancel

Your instance and its rate data are permanently deleted when your subscription ends. Download the direct export offered in the dashboard before cancelling. We do not retain a central copy and cannot recover the rate book after deletion.

Availability

We do not offer a service level guarantee. The service depends on third-party infrastructure and may be unavailable during maintenance or provider incidents.

Third-party services

The service runs on third-party infrastructure and connects to third-party AI platforms. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms. Sub-processors are listed in our Privacy Policy.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, abuse, breach of these terms, or legal compliance.

Warranty disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Rate and productivity data is reference information, not professional advice — you remain responsible for verifying any figure you rely on commercially. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
